sharing resources via a pool in MSP2000

Hello all,

I have a team of three producers attempting to share resources from
a single resource pool set up as a stand alone "project." This pool
is open and writeable whenever we are planning.

Problem is, the pool seems to get written to by stray projects.
All of a sudden, resorces that aren't in the pool appear. I assume
these resources live in a project somewhere, but it still seems odd.

Short of upgrading to Central, is there a good FAQ about the poor man's
version of using resource pools across multiple users?

TIA.

Hi Keith,

Central has no bearing to this.
Open the pool, go to Tools, resources, Share resources, and look which files
are connected.

Thank you. That was helpful.

If I have a project in the portfolio, and that project contains
resources NOT in the pool, do those resources get added
automatically?

I keep getting stray resources in my pool.

Heh.

Hi,

Yes. All resources are either local or in the Pool.
