Resource Pool

I will be trying to use a shared resource pool to plan manpower in a Steel
Fabrication facility. We have a varied work schedule. Some week, even days
vary in the number of hours worked by the group as well as individuals.
Vacation calendar, variable day, some including saturday work on a short
schedule.

Has anyone used this type of sharing and will project allow me to vary the
manhours in that amount of detail.

All the projects will use the common shared resources.
Please advise.

It will but will be an administrative overhead to manage the calendar.
