shortcuts to website have an image, how ?

a short cut to some sites have an image of their site, instead of just a
shortcut icon.

how can I do this for my site??

what is the file called or where is it stored, I have looked thinking that
it would be in the desktop.ini, or something, but can not find it.

I don't understand what you're speaking to here?

Where is this image located etc?

you visit a website and create a link to that site and have an icon,
shortcut to that page, this icon is the picture of that site, i.e, hello
magazine when you save a shortcut to the site on you desktop or whereever
you want to save the link, it has an image of 'HELLO' instead of the default
shortcut icon

hope this is a better way of asking??

ok try this,


goto www.hellomagazine.com

then click and hold the E icon in the address bar and drag it to your
desktop, this icon is to the left of the HTTP://....

the icon goes to the desktop and the icon changes to HELLO's own icon.

how can i do this to my site.
