show and return

I cannot activate the show and return feature when creating a hyperlink. I
want to go to a previous slide, let that play through (which it's set to do)
and return to the original slide, is this possible and is using 'show and
return' the right way to do it?

Please can someone help I'm almost at the end of this project with a
deadline slowly approaching on the hoirzon.

Kevin,
Show and return only works when you are linking to a custom show. To do what
you want, use Slide Show--> Custom Show to create a custom show with just
the one slide. When you create your hyperlink, scroll down past the list of
slides and you will see your custom show. Select it and you will be able to
choose Show and Return.
