show deleted tasks compared to baseline

Arlo

Hi,

We want to compare the baseline with the current plan, but during the
project some tasks that are in the baseline have been deleted. Allthough the
values for baslinework etc are visible, we also want to see which tasks
proved to be unnecessary

does anyone have a clue

Once a task is deleted, the baseline information gets deleted as well.
Instead of deleting tasks you can try zeroing them out: set duration to
zero. You can also set a Flagn field to Yes and filter for all tasks with
the same flag set to No so flagged (deleted) tasks don't show. However, a
zeroed task will still have its original baseline data.

Hello Arlo,
Instead of deleting these tasks, I'ld set their Duration to 0, so their Work
and Cost would be set to 0 too.

The purpase of baseline information is for monitoring variance from the
currently accepted baseline plan. If you zero out the scheduled Duration and
Work, then the Baseline Duration and baseline Work values are still part of
your PMB, affecting your schedule and cost variances.

If a task is no longer part of the baseline, then you need to delete the
tasks under the control of an approved Change Request, then rebaseline that
portion of the schedule only. This will adjust the PMB S-Curve and allow the
opportunity for EV and AC to achieve PV.
