Showing lines in a blank doc

Hi all,

my Word 2000 is showing horizontal lines in all docs (new
one too) like a "water mark".
how can i have it 100% blank again ?

Helio,

Display the Drawing toolbar. Click the Draw button, then
grid, and uncheck display gridlines on screen.
