Showing when a Task was last updated in a PWA View

I have a request from our customer and I am not sure how I can provide it. I
have looked on the discussion board here, and on the web and cannot really
find anything that has helped me out there already so i am posing the request
to everyone to see if you can help me.

Our customer would like to have a view in PWA for the project plan that
includes a field that shows when the last time a task was updated. So in the
detailed project view on the web it would have this field that would tell him
the date that a particular task was last updated. I cannot seem to find a
way to do this and was wondering if anyone had a good suggestion to help me.

My setup is a follows. Project Server 2007 with all of the updates (SP1,
etc), SQL Server 2005 SP2, all on one server.

If anyone can think of a good way to show this I would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Chris

Generally tasks are not updated unless all tasks only have one resource
assigned to them, it is the assignment that is updated in PWA by each
resource, thus these would not necessarily match. As far as a date field with
date submitted versus date approved, again these could not necessarily match.
Best you might hope for is to populate one of the custom date fields and put
that into Assignments Detail view, but that would take a lot of intervention
and or a macro.

Now if you leave PWA for say SQL Reporting Services, you could do a report
on either or both ASSN_TRANS_UPDATE_DATE and ASSN_TRANS_SUBMIT_DATE.
