Simple Outlook 2003 Rule Problem

M

Michael Sovitzky

OK, please bare with me. I have a client with one Exchange account
hooked up to SBS 2003 (Exchange 2003), using Outlook 2003.

He has two email addresses via his company to two different domains.
He wants emails destined for one address to automatically go in a
certain Inbox folder, and emails destined for the other address in
another Inbox folder. I have the Inbox folders created and I created
2 rules using the 'specific words in the recipients address' criteria
and have them moved to their respective folders.

They don't work. All email stays in the Inbox. I sent an email from
my Hotmail account to each of the email addresses; he got them both
but they both stayed in the Inbox, even after I pressed Run Rules Now.
I believe the problem is that when I open one of these emails I sent
him, the To: shows as his full name, NOT the email address I sent to.
This is likely why the Rule does not work. How do fix this, or why
don't the emails show as going to the specific email address? Both
emails show his full name.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Michael
