Simple Report / View

How do I create a report that shows total resource usage in hours per
resource per a specific project (the one that I opened). I'd like to see the
total monthly Work planned for each resource for a specific project and the
Actual Work reported on this timesheet.

At the moment the view/report shows me ALL the tasks a resources is assigned
to for ALL the projects running.

Hi Ramush,

I assume you are working with sharer files connected to a resource pool.
When you open the sharer file and select the option (Do Not Open Other
Files) you will only see assignments for resources in the currently opened
project file.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

I have no idea what a sharer file is. We run 20 projects on MS Project Server
2003. It is linked to Project Web Access. What I need is:

1. A report showing me the total hours an employee submitted in February
for project X. (I'd like to generate the report in MS Project)
2. A report showing the total hours planned for an employee working on
project X tasks.

Hi Ramush,

Sorry for the confusion. As you posted your question to the "General"
newsgroup for project, I assumed you were not using Project Server and were
using a MS Project resource pool file (pool file) and files that were
"sharing" resources with the pool (sharer).

I'm afraid I know very little about server so you may wish to post your
question to the newsgroup for project server.
