I have defined a bunch of separate folders to accommodate separate email
accounts. My problems are with the rules I have set up to filter off
sent mails for each email account to the relevant sub-folder in one of
the "email-account -linked" personal folders I mentioned above.
The rules work insofar as I can specify them:
But there are 2 issues:
1. I can only specify to "MOVE" a copy to the relevant xxx sub-folder
.... so one copy stays in the "Sent Items" of the main Personal Folder
.... and I have to regularly delete all these duplicate copies manually!!!
2. The copy which arrives in the xxx sub-folder is still marked unread.
So this also requires a manual operation to get it out of my unread mail
(confusing too: why would anyone want to still read a mail they have
just typed anyway!?!)
Unless I am missing something there are clearly no ready-made rules to
accomplish an automation of the above 2 issues ...
so my questions are:
A. IS THIS TRUE ?
And if the above is true ...
B. Is defining a custom action the best way to solve this problem? Do I
need to learn a scripting language ?
Any help, pointers would be much appreciated.
