Simplifying project data entry

Is it possible to create a data entry sheet that will allow people with no
project experience the ability to type in the basics of the project and have
it automatically downloaded into project? If not, can anyone offer any
suggestions how to accomplish something similar?

If you are using Porject 2003. Consider building an application that creates
XML of the data input.
See file pjXML.chm for details on Project's XML format, or create a simple
Project with one task and Save-As XML to get the format.

Once you have created the XML externally, When Project opens the XML you can
use to append or merge the new information into the project.
