Slide show with Microsoft Publisher

Patrick

I have scanned a whole bunch of pictures and saved them each as a Publisher
file so that I can add Text boxes, etc. I am looking for a way to create a
slide show for these pictures - any suggestions?

You should have saved them as standard image files, that would have been
more useful as Publisher can't create a slide show and Pub files cannot be
used by slide show creators. Most slide show creation software has the
ability to add captions (not necessarily on the image itself).

I suppose now you can save each image as a jpg with the text on it with
Publisher then find a slideshow creation software to your liking and make
the slide show from them. However, this has added an unnecessary step
(imo). --- also depends on which version of Publisher you are using whether
you can save the pub images as jpgs.

You could convert your Pub file to a .pdf and then view it full screen in
Adobe Reader. Ideally tho, you should be using PowerPoint for slideshows.

If you save the completed files in the .jpg
format you could use the free PhotoStory 3
to create your slideshow.
