Slow printing of landscape calendar

Why does Pub 2003 take forever printing a landscape calendar? Is there something I should be doing?

According to the website at HP.com, the printer you are using is only
supported on Windows 2000 (not Windows XP). So I assume you are running one
of those two OS's. If that is the case, and you installed the latest printer
driver for Windows 2000 (which is from Feb 2002), you may not have the
proper drivers available for you to use the newer software properly. Contact
HP direct to see if there is anyway to obtain further driver support for
your printer.

Also, if you have another printer available, test to see how well Publisher
prints to a different printer.
