slow to open docutments

I have office 2003.. when I open a word document that came as an attachment,
often, word takes a long time to open or even freezes.

I find word freezes very often

Any suggestions?

If you are using Symantec/Norton Antivirus, try disabling the Office
Plugin that comes with it. See

Hi,

I have the same problem. The problem is the template attached to the
document you are trying to open. Check under Tools / Templates and Add-ins
the path to the template. I am sure that you will find a path to an unknown
server or share.
