Slow to open menu

In any office 2003 application if I go to either open or save it immediatelly
goes to the default location. Then if I want to go to another location, it
hesitates very long or even freezes. Any solutions?

Hi, did anyone answer your question? I have more or less the same
problem after installing office 2003.

Right-click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop, left-click

Thank you Garfield. You were right on. I had screwed up a mapping & forgot to
remove it.
Strange though how it only affected the Office 2003 applications & did not
bother other programs like Corel & Pagemaker & others.
