Sort Resources in Task Form

Is there a way to sort the resources assigned to a task in the Task Form,
Task Entry Form, etc.

Hello Robert,

The task form shows resources in resource ID order. To get the
resources to appear sorted alphabetically you'll need to sort the
resources and renumber the IDs.
Display the Resource Sheet view. From the menu select Project > Sort >
Sort By.... Select Name in the first Sort by drop down and check
(enable) "Permanently renumber resources." Click the Sort button.

Hi Julie,
Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, you are only partly correct. In
the Task Form (and many other places), the resource drop-down/pick list is in
Resource ID order.

What I am referring to is the order as displayed in the form, possibly after
multiple re-numberings that you refer to below.

Hi Robert,

Sorry, I don't follow you're answer. I thought you wanted to change the
order of the resources in the drop-down list appearing in the Task Form.

I believe the order resources are listed in the task form once they have
been assigned is the order in which they were assigned. For example:
Alan (ID 1), Bob (ID 2), Sue (ID 3) are assigned to a task in the
following order: Bob, Sue, Alan. No matter how I sort the Resource IDs
it will show Bob, then Sue, then Alan.
