Space bar/Internet

When I am on the internet, and I am typing something, as soon as I hit the
space bar, the cursor goes to the address line and puts the text there. How
do I stop this from happening?

You could try posting this in a group relevant to your Operating System or
even Internet Explorer. It is not Microsoft Office related, however.
