Speed Issue

I am experiencing a problem with the speed of updating cells
on one of the tabs of a spreadsheet. It takes about 1
minute to update a cell when I am typing over the cell with the number
to remove the link I have set up.

This cell on the spreadsheet links to another tab on the same spreadsheet as
well as to another area on the same tab as the cell in question.

I am using MS Office Excel 2007 and have not experienced this problem
previously using 97 or 2003. I have been using this spreadsheet in 2007 for
about 6 months and have only just started having this problem.
