speed things up!!

Hello, I have a front end back end access 2007 database that I have created.
I also have a VPN set up amongst our 3 branches with a forth at our server.
Is there a way to speed the interaction between the front and back end up??
I know nothing about the multiuser world and utilizing our internal VPN. It
just seems like it takes a long time to load any of the forms and reports.

Any suggestions would be great!!

Were are the FEs? They should be on the end user's machines and not out on a
network drive.

The FE are on the end user machines and the BE is on our server.
