Standard 2002 to enterprise 2002

I have several projects that were created with Project
2002 Standard and are on Project Server. However, we now
have everything as Project 2002 Pro. I cannot open in
project 2002 pro anything from the Project server that was
created in 2002 Standard. Is there a way to fix this??
Or do I have to install standard, save everything to a
file, open it in 2002 Pro, and upload to Project server (
I would rather not have to do all that)??

I have noticed that everything created in 2002 standard is
listed as "Workgroup" while everything from 2002 pro is
listed as "Enterprise." I am hopeing it won't take much
to make everything enterprise.

Thanks

Geoff:

The answer depends on where you stored the projects in the first place. Are
the projects stored in the Project Server database, not just published to
it, but stored in it?

If so, use an ODBC connection to the database to open the workgroup projects
and save them as mpps.
Delete them from Project Server using Admin > Cleanup Project Server
database
Import them to the enterprise using the Import Wizard

Thank you. That got half of them. Where would I find the
other half?? Where else can they be stored? I installed
Project 2002 standard and I still couldn't open the other
half. Are they lost forever?? IE, have to redo them?

I have a copy of Project 2000. Is there a slight chance
that this is what I used to create these?? The ones that
won't open happen to be all of the first ones done (with 1
exception). I am very sure I used project 2002 standard
in the beginning, but I could always be wrong.

Thanks for your help

Geoff:

It all depends on where they were published from. Look in shares on people's
hard drives. If you open the table msp_web_projects, you should find the
location of the file in the project record. If you see something like
C:\blah, then you'll need to figure out who's c-drive it is.
