One of our users keeps having MS Project 2002 files turn to read only when
he tries to save them. He has Windows 2000, Office XP, SP-2 and Project
2002. He will open a master project, that is linked to subprojects sharing a
resource pool, make some changes and when he tries to save, a message box
comes up saying the file is read-only and he must save it under another
name. The menu bar does not indicate the file is read-only, like is does on
the resource pool file, and as far as we can tell no one else is using the
files. Does anyone know what could be causing this type of behavior? It does
not happen every time, but it has happened several times over several days.
TIA
