Stuck Document

I have a document that comes up every time Microsoft Word
is opened. That document has been deleted. It does not
appear in the MY DOCUMENT listing. A dealer suggested
that I install a new version of Microsoft Word. This I
have done, and guess what, as soon as I opened Microsoft
Word with the new program,(Microsoft Word 2002) there is
the same document. I would like for Word to open up with
a blank document like it used to. How do I get rid of the
Phantom document?

Your document has been saved as normal.dot, so it's coming up as the
'template' for each new document. Open normal.dot, delete the content, save.

And find another dealer.
