suddenly, Outlook puts all text into CAPS?

A client using Outlook just reported that he booted up this morning - and when
he tries to send a message - it defaults to ALL CAPS.

This is only in Outlook.

Any idea what this could be?

I suppose you've double checked that he doesn't have caps lock on, right?
If he composes a message, it looks normal, but it changes when he hits send?
In the Outbox, and in sent items, what does it look like?
