Summary baseline question

In a consolidated project, when I insert a project under another task it
should calculate it up as a summary task since I went into tools/options and
checked the box that says "Inserted projects are calculated like summary
tasks". So why doesn't it calculate any baseline fields up. Is this
because the consolidated project must have a baseline saved separately from
the individual inserted projects? Is there a way I can get a report to look
like this..

Baseline Work Baseline Duration
Project #1 12 2
Project #1 12 2
Task #1 6 1
Task #2 6 1
