I am looking for the BEST way to sync Outlook between a
home desktop, a laptop and a pda. I am setting this up
for someone else and he is using Outlook 2k. I have been
to slipstick.com and found some ideas like using a
sepearate pst file for the calendar, contacts and tasks -
which is all I want to sync by the way. I don't need to
sync the inbox.
Here is another curve - possibly. When at home the user
wants to be able to have his laptop hooked into the
network and access his Outlook account while his wife
accesses it on the desktop. I know they cannot have the
same pst file open at the same time (at least that is my
understanding) so I am looking for some expert advice on
the best way to resolve this situation.
I have looked at the briefcase idea and some sync tools,
but I would like to do the best and easiest thing because
they are "casual" users and will not want to have
anything too complex to deal with. What about offline
files? Can I set that up with XP Home and Outlook 2k?
Thanks in advance.
