Sync between machines

I run Outlook 2000 on my Laptop but spend a lot of time at
my desktop. They are both on the same network and I
wondered if there was any way to sync the between Outlook
on both machines without having Microsoft Exchange Server?

Sort of but not really

Managed to get Outlook 2003 on my desktop to use the .pst
on my laptop as it's default file location. Can view all
the e-mails & contacts which is great and exactley what I
wanted. One problem though. When I send a test e-mail to
myself from my destop the e-mail ends up in the Unread
mail folder and not my inbox which is linked to my
laptop. If I open Outlook on my laptop and receive the
mail then go back to the desktop it appears as normal. Is
there a way to point incoming mails to the laptop file
location?

If you have a network share both machines can access, yes.
