Synchronization Login Prompt

I keep getting a network login prompt when I attempt to
synchronize Outlook 97 when using Dial Up.
I have selected and deselected everything under MS
Exchange Server Information Exchange.

The one thing that I cannot be allowed to do is give the
Laptop I am on an account on the domain.

What is the solution?
