synchronizing desktop/laptop PST file

What's the easiest way to have my laptop Outlook profile
to look exactly as my desktop in terms of same folders?
On the laptop, there are folders and messages that I do
not want there anymore, and I don't want to have go in
and manually remove them all as I did on the desktop. So,
just want to have an exact copy of the desktop now to
reside on the laptop. What is the best way to accomplish?
