Tab formatting won't save

I have a document that I created that will not save tab formats. I can change
the whole document and then when I hit save, all the tab formatting
disappears. I do not have the problem with other documents.

Any ideas of why this is happening? and how I can fix it?

You can try to highlight your whole document and then go to "format,
paragraph." On the bottom you should see the word "Tab." Click on that and
then set your tab the way you like it. After you have set the tab how you
like it, click ok and then try saving your document.
