Tagged item summary loses text colour

If I create an item and color the text, say "red" for urgent, tag it and then
generate a tagged items summary, the text colour drops back to black in the
summary. Is there any way to perserve the colour of the original item in the
summary?

Are you coloring the font of the text to red or applying a Tag whose
properties changed the tagged text to red?
