task assigned is not posted to from the status request

Task list shows the original task without any status
updates posting to it although I am receiving status
updates. The status updates are posting to my Inbox. I
am trying to use the task list to track all tasks,
personal and delegated, and need to see the status
updates attached to the task. Any suggestions?
