Please help! I am a devoted task user. I am syncing between my home
pc and my work pc via my Pocket PC. I recently erased all the tasks
on my home computer in hopes of just syncing my personal tasks at
home. Unfortunately, I wiped all the tasks from my home pc as well as
my pocket pc during the sync process. Luckily I had exported the task
list at home and at work to a .pst file. When I went back to my work
pc, I synced and it removed all of my task data...no big deal...I have
a backup...when I restored the data from the .pst file, all of the
tasks showed the owner as me! I have 6 other people I assign tasks to
and prior to importing the .pst file, the tasks that I assigned showed
the owner's name. My real question here is, how do I get the tasks to
show who owns them? When I go to the individual user's task lists, it
shows them as being the owner...is there a disconnect somewhere? I
cannot restore from backup on the exchange server because it is an old
version that backus up everything. In order to restore, the exchange
server would have to be restored corporate wide!
any suggistions would be appreciated!
