Hello Michael,
I believe the two fields you see in the Task form are the Leveling
Delay and the Assignment Delay fields. The leveling delay is added
when you delay a task using the resource leveling command as a
method of resolving resource overallocation. The Assignment delay
will show data (or you can add assignment delay) if you change a
resource's start date or time on a task. The assignment delay is
handy if you have one resource out of several who is overallocated
on a task. By delaying the assignment (not the task) the resources
who are not overallocated can start working on the task as
scheduled, and the resource who is overallocated can start later.
You can see (and modify) the Assignment delay field in either the
Task Usage or Resource Usage views as well as in the Task Form.
I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
