By "remeove" do you mean delete or hide?
Hide: RightMouseButton in the Gantt area,click on Layout in the popup,
click on the Link display that you want. This will retain the links but
will not display them.
Delete: Double-click on the line and then click on the Delete button.
This will remove the dependency between the tasks.

If you are referring to the Gantt Chart in the Project Center or Project
views of Project Web Access, you cannot remove the link lines. Sorry.
