Tasks are being duplicated in Outlook 2007

I have just started up and fully updated Vista and Outlook 2007. In Outlook,
whenever I enter a task, reoccuring or not, it shows duplicates in tasks and
calandar. Outlook Today only shows a single line item and check box. If I
check the single completion check box in Outlook Today is shows both items
complete.

How do I stop getting a duplicate task?
