% Complete vs Actual Work

At this point I have linked a task from a subproject to a master project. I
did this by copying the link and paste special, link. Work great and easy to
do. However in order to see the changes in the master that I make in the
subproject I have to have them both open. I am using MS PRoject 2007 and
Project Server 2007. I would appreciate any thoughts to this!

Person,
Well the first problem is that you used paste links. Paste links may be
"easy" to create and seem like a really nifty approach but they are very
fragile and easily corruptible. What you should be using are external
predecessors. You can read more about those in the Project help file.
