Hello all,
I'm having a problem with the DELEGATION functionality for any person
that is a member of Team Leads.
Here is what is going on:
Team Leads were initially unable to delegate tasks receiving the
message: "you do not have permission to view resources or there are
not resources associated with this project." We verified that there
were resources on the project, and the Delegation option was not
turned off.
Currently, the only way that Team Leads can delegate a task is if the
permission for "View resources on all projects" is turned on. When
this is set, and the Team Lead chooses the Delegate option, they can
select anyone from the Enterprise Resource Pool. Is there a setting
where the Team Leads could only view those people that are on that
project team, and not the ERP? This isn't a problem for the Project
Manager because they use the "View Resources on Projects that I own."
Obviously, Team Leads do not own any projects, so this is a bit of a
conundrum.
I would appreciate any input.
