Templates?

Ive been trying to create a template using text boxes as opposed to form fields. Is this possible? Also, when I have my .doc looking the way I want, I save it and then reopen it, when i do so it opens, but it is in design mode, how do i prevent this?

If you don't want to use formfields, then you should probably be using a
userform.

See the article “How to create a Userform” at:

Well, generally when I save templates and start using them they open in a
sort of design mode, if I had inserted a Text Box when creating it, when
clicked in the Text box, it would activate the borders of it.

So, guess in my estimation this is how it should look.
