Text box in a calendar over several dates

In a calendar I put a text box over 3 dates. I want to remove the table
lines in the text box so the text box looks like one box instead of many
sections. How do I do this in Publisher 2003?

Fill the text box white?
Or select the three cells, lines, more lines, remove the lines you don't want.
