Text Boxes are drivin me a little crazy:)

There must be a setting for text boxes that allow you to "nudge" as close as
you want to another text box without making the other text box text
disappear...lol..right? Hope thats not too confusing..but it has been a
hastle for a while...please tell me the settings and where to go for
that...thank you! What if you wanted to almost super impose 2 texts? Also,
if I am copy and pasting text...is there a way to have a "template" text so
when I paste I dont have to re-do the look of the text..in other words, if i
want ALL text to look like this...Hello
