text changed on one page changes other pages

When I change the text on some pages on my web site it automatically changes
the text on several other pages. How can I stop this happening?

The text you are changing is in a shared borer or include page applied to all pages
- don't use shared borders or include pages for content unique to each page

Format Shared Borders and select the option to remove (from a specific page or all pages)

OK, thanks, that's helpful.

I can find Format and Borders and Shading, but I can't see anything that
looks as if it needs changing.

Can you give me another clue please.

You need Format->Shared Borders on the menu.

Yes, I know that's where I have to look. But, when I get there what do I have
to do to stop the text printing all over other pages?

Turn OFF the Shared Borders. I believe you have to have a page opened in
your web to be able to access the menu selection. IF you have any content in
the shared border that you want to keep, you may want to save it to a backup
page before you turn the borders off.
