When you created your text boxes, Word gave them a "bookmark" name (like -
Text1). In order to insert that data in several other places, you need to
insert a cross reference to that bookmark. Unprotect your template to be
able to modify it, click your mouse where you want to insert the text, click
"Insert", "Reference", "Cross Reference". Click the dropdown and select
"Bookmarks". Highlight the bookmark that contains the text you want to
reference and click OK.
To automatically have this work, double-click your original textbox to enter
the field properties window and check the "Calculate on exit" option. This
way when you TAB out of your field, all cross references will reflect what
you just types.

I have created a document in WORD. It includes tables and gray boxes and
it is to be used as a form. I have it saved as a template and can move
around in the gray boxes by tabbing. That all works great. Now I would like
to type in a gray box and have it automatically put that same word or words
into other boxes within the document that I choose. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. I have had a very tough time finding help as I don't
know what to call the process I am trying to do.
