text in a placeholder resizes when printed

XP Since I started using PPT2003 on XP, I have noticed what seems to be an
intermittent problem.

I often adjust the size of the font in a placeholder so the text all fits on
the slide OK.
Sometimes I will move the placeholder to the left and copy it so I have two
text boxes. (actually one 'placeholder' and one 'autoshape' according to my
format menu.)

BUT even though it all seems fine on screen, when I print it, the text on
the placeholder may magically grows its font size - often it hangs below the
bottom of the slide.

This morning, I printed an early version of my pack and it all looked fine.
Later I printed it again and NOT fine.

Anybody else had this problem?? I never had this prob with earlier versions
of PPT.

The only solution I've come up with is to stop using placeholders
altogether and just insert text boxes.
