Text on animated background

How can I place text on an animated background?
When the show runs, the text disappears,
but the animated background runs?

Video always plays in the foreground in PowerPoint, hence your text
disappears. The only way around it is to use an animated gif instead of a
video.

If you are running powerful computers and what to go the 'high-tech' route,
look into OfficeFx's professional edition (www.instantfx.com) which enables
full motion graphics to run in the background.

I did find that a GIF background will stay "in the background"
