Thumbnails on PP Show

Slide show made, used Pack & Go, burned to CD. When running the CD why are the thumbnail slides showing too? What do I need to do for the show to run full screen without the thumbnails? Many thanks

Are you running it in the Viewer or in PowerPoint? If it's running in
PowerPoint, you probably need to press F5 to switch to Slide Show mode.

Running in Slide Show Mode won't help people the CD is sent to, will it? Should it not come up full screen after .ppt icon is clicked on the CD?

Full screen is slide show mode. I don't know how you've created the CD. If
all of your users are guaranteed to have PowerPoint, you can rename your
file on the CD, giving it a file extension of .pps and when they click on
the file name, the presentation will open in Slide Show mode.

If they don't have PowerPoint, the presentation won't run at all. You might
want to look at http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/acdpc.htm
or http://www.echosvoice.com/autoruncd.htm. The first uses the new
PowerPoint 2003 Viewer and nothing is installed on the users system and
everything runs automatically when they put the CD in the drive.

Most of the people viewing the CD do not have PP. Can .pps use Pack and Go? If so, that will work. I do appreciate your help.

Be sure to include the Viewer when you run Pack and Go.

To Jean
.
You probably saved your presentation in Slide Sorter View
and as PPT file when you used the pack & Go Wizard.

Also, to make it to run in Full View, save your file as a
Powerpoint Slideshow, .PPS not .PPT.

Hope this helps.

Sonia and Duke,

Thanks to both of you. Saving as a .pps worked like a charm! Got exactly what I wanted.
