Time Calculations

I need a calculation to subtract the start time from the finish time when the
time is in the format of hours:minutes such as Start time as 1:40,
Finish time as 3:10 with the difference being 90 minutes?

Hi,

I suppose you wnt to see that in a custom field through a formula?
You should be aware that everything Project does is inevitably and always in
minutes.
Your question boils down to how you can format the result in minutes.

My solution would be the following
Define the resulting field as a duration field
Use ProjDateDiff function to find the difference
Set the option (Tools, Option, Schedule) to show durations in minutes.
