Time help

I want XL to auto enter the time and date into a cell when
i start entering my information into another cell. I want
it to do this for each different sample i take so I have
the time when I entered my data. If I use the formula now()
it keeps recalculating the first date and time when I
start entering my second set of data. Please help.
