Timescale bug: year

The Gantt Chart timescale reads 2009 while my Start and Finish dates are
in 2008.

Is there a fix for this?

Hi Chris,

This sounds like a fiscal date setting, the subject of our first FAQ. You

1. Strange Dates in Gantt? Check the Fiscal Year

In Tools > Options > Calendar there is a setting for Fiscal year starts in:
This is to align the Gantt calendar with that required by the accountants.
Setting it to other than January will change the year at the fiscal
changeover month. For example, if September is the beginning of the fiscal
year, then August 2000 will change over to September 2001 at midnight on
August 31st 2000. You are advised to use January most of the time, change to
your fiscal year to view or report fiscal matters and then change it back to
January. [Fiscal year can be shown on the timescales in Project 2000.]

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
