to even task through period?

Can I have task that is determined by other tasks (must start with one, and
must end with another and have fix work amount) and have project figured out
self how many % of reassures it uses. What happens when I try that is that
project uses 100% of reassures and cut short the task. I will that project
levels/evens task though hole period between two dates determined by other
tasks. Can that be done? (I dont want to put the dates, but relations like
"start 10 days befor that and end 10 days after this"...)
Thanks a lot if someone can be bothered to answer, sorry if question is too
elementary...

You want a Hammock Task. The procedure is defined in the link below my name.
Go to the FAQ Page, and read FAQ#19.

To be a little more complete on my prior post (sorry, no coffee yet) if you
want a task to start a fixed number of days offset from another task start
you can create a milestone of 0 days duration for that task. Example. I
want TaskB to start 10 days after the start of TaskA. Create TaskAa as a
milestone, 0 days. Link TaskAa to TaskA as SS+10days lag. The start of
TaskAa becomes the start date of your hammock task. The same idea applies to
the end date.
