I am trying to configure FP2003 to set up unique
permissions from a subsite but when I try to click on
tools...server.. the server tab is not highlighted or
clickable.
Can anyone tell me why or help me fix this problem?
Thanks for your help.....

Tom, Thanks for replying but I am not sure I understand
what you mean. I am trying to set up permission to a
particular web page within my website and when it tells
me to go to tools, server, I am not able to. Do I need to
turn something on, or change?
Are there directions for doing this?
Can you provide additional info.
Thanks!!!1

The feature is only available when you open the remote site via FP, and only
if the host allows it.

You do have you online (remote) web open in FrontPage, correct?
BTW, you can't set permissions on a page, you must have a subsite and can
set permissions on it (if your host allows).

Yes, I do have my site open in FP. That is exactly what I
am trying to do is set up a subsite and I have been
following the HOW TO: but probably am not doing something
you mentioned about the online remote. Any suggestions.
Appreciate your help.

Have you checked with the host to see if:

1) They allow subsites (some don't, and some require that *they* set them
up)?
2) They allow you to assign permissions (some don't)?
